In February, to present achievement of workshop,
JCPC held a symposium 'Future International Framework on Climate Change (Post-Kyoto) and Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) - Construction of Collaboration System between Developed and Developing countries -'.
For this, JCPC invited experts of climate change policy from India and Germany, to hear about EU’ s movement toward low- carbon society and about India’s idea on utilizing CDM for their economic growth, and accumulated many suggestions for the future direction.

2006

Since August, JCPC researched on CDM (Clean Development Mechanism) based climate policy.
This was a workshop to contemplate on the direction of international framework for the reduction measures of Greenhouse Gases between developed and developing countries after 2012 when the first commitment period of Kyoto Protocol ends (‘Workshop for Climate Policy Utilizing CDM’).
This workshop consisted of the first working group dealing with legal issues and the second working group dealing with management of practical business affairs.
